NAS – But we should always give thanks to God for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God has chosen you from the beginning for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and faith in the truth.
NA26 – Ἡμεῖς δὲ ὀφείλομεν (5719) εὐχαριστεῖν (5721) τῷ θεῷ πάντοτε περὶ ὑμῶν, ἀδελφοὶ ἠγαπημένοι (5772) ὑπὸ κυρίου, ὅτι εἵλατο (5668) ὑμᾶς ὁ θεὸς ἀπαρχὴν εἰς σωτηρίαν ἐν ἁγιασμῷ πνεύματος καὶ πίστει ἀληθείας,
WH – ημεις δε οφειλομεν (5719) ευχαριστειν (5721) τω θεω παντοτε περι υμων αδελφοι ηγαπημενοι (5772) υπο κυριου οτι ειλατο (5668) υμας ο θεος [ απ αρχης | απαρχην ] εις σωτηριαν εν αγιασμω πνευματος και πιστει αληθειας
